Hello, and welcome to our very first blog post. Here at Better Essays, we wanted a way to directly communicate with our customers, and so we thought a blog was the perfect idea! Firstly, I would like to introduce myself and give you a bit of a background about Better Essays and its humble beginnings. My name is Elad Admon, and I am the founder of Better Essays.
I completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Applied Finance at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Whilst studying I spent many hours writing essays, group assignments, reports and presentations. I also worked with a wide range of people from many different backgrounds and from many different countries – many of whom I am still good friends with today. Something that I noticed repeatedly was that fellow students were losing marks for errors in English grammar and expression. Many a time I would find myself editing essays for my team mates in a group assignment, as I was determined that we should get the best marks possible. It was with this thought that the idea for Better Essays began to form. I wondered whether a service existed to simply edit English grammar, expression and vocabulary for those who were unnecessarily losing marks.
Better Essays was created as an online professional editing service available to students all around Australia, as well as those overseas. We now provide an editing service for school and university students, jobseekers and businesses. Better Essays is made up of a team of editors who specialise in proofreading and editing, and have the experience and educational qualifications to back it up. My role is to communicate with you, and provide entertaining, as well as informative blog posts on topics related to improving your writing and ultimately your grades. I have picked up many tips and tricks during my years in academia, and I would love to share them all with you.
