5. Better Essays retains the right to refuse any work that we feel cannot be completed within the client’s deadline.

6. All prices quoted are estimated only and are subject to change without notice. These estimates are based on a variety of factors, including the amount and degree of difficulty of editing necessary for any document. Clients are encouraged to obtain a specific quotation for their document prior to paying and submitting the document for editing.

7. Better Essays does not provide any warranties of its services, expressed or implied. While every effort is made to ensure you that your grades will improve, we do not guarantee that your grades will improve after using our services. This is because ultimately your grades depend on things that are out of our control such as the content of your document, quality of your research, opinion of your lecture/tutor, etc.

8. Any corrections, comments or suggestions made by Better Essays in connection with editing a document, are those deemed appropriate for the job. The use of these corrections, comments or suggestions is at the discretion of the client.

9. Better Essays is not responsible for any circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from fulfilling our contract, (e.g. power outs/ black outs). In these circumstances the client may be entitled to a refund of monies paid. All such refunds are at the sole discretion of Better Essays.

Error and Omissions

Better Essays is not responsible for errors or omissions because the client did not clearly communicate requirements.

Payment

Payment is to be made by the client before editing commences.

Signing Off

Once we receive email notification from you that you are happy with our work, or we have not heard from you within seven days of returning your work we assume you have "signed off" on the project. You are then completely responsible for the use of your document and we will not be held accountable for any outcomes.

Security and Privacy

Better Essays will not sell, distribute or share your information, or any part thereof, to a third party. Clients may request that documents are destroyed after a job has been completed. If this instruction is not received Better Essays may retain a copy of your documents for backup purposes only.

Contract Termination

Better Essays or any of its editors may terminate a project at any time for any reason.

Academic Liability

Better Essays recognises that the academic evaluation of students' work depends on a number of factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: meeting criteria, validity of the work, originality of the work, accuracy of the work, and opinion of the lecturer /tutor /assessor. We cannot be held legally or otherwise responsible for disappointing grades due to these or any other factors, including the negligence of editors or staff, or claims of such negligence.

The client agrees to indemnify and hold Better Essays, its editors, employees and contractors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of an attorney, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the service or website, or violation by the client, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the client.

Limitation of Liability
